The Site macphobia.com launched on 15th July . For a month or so the site was accessible with parked page showing countdown timer for the launch date . MacPhobia doesn’t like Apple Mac as much as it likes Windows but it doesn’t hate Macs , rather it likes the user interface ( clean and solid ) of Mac which is why the site MacPhobia.com is hugely inspired from Mac OSX theme . This can be reflected from the site’s theme as well. The theme this site uses is iTheme for WordPress . It has clean look and also has a Mac like Dock at the bottom . the Script for the Dock is taken from here and its hugely customized. I have written a plugin for WordPress to have such Dock at the bottom of any WordPress blog which will be released later .
Before this site launched it already got some buzz around and more than 50 people have subscribed to the newsletter after visiting the sites launch page . Thanks to all of you. And thanks to ZdNet writer Tom Steinert-Threlkeld for finding this site and writing about it in his blog .
