All computer software can crash. You can write bad progams on the Mac just as easily as you can on the PC. There’s nothing special about Mac OS X that makes it impossible for programs to crash, so I really don’t see what your point is!
There is a good argument that can be made that the UNIX-based underpinnings of the Mac make it more stable than Windows, however. The design of Windows means that a lot of software (drivers, daemons, etc.) must run with full administrative privileges, which means that a bad driver can crash the whole machine (i.e. blue screen) or means that viruses can spread easily. UNIX is much more stable in this regard.

I understood that it was Safari that had crashed by looking at the screenshot. Are you trying to say that the equivalent apps on Windows (e.g. Internet Explorer) do not crash as frequently? I’ve seen IE crash on many occassions, and most sensible people seem to use Firefox these days for reasons of performance, security and standards complaince.
Plus I guess if you think it’s funny to a support person’s time by sending messages like that back to Apple then fair enough. I expect they get their fair share of pointless feedback, and yours will be just as quick to delete as any other!
