Mac , Nobody Gives a Shit ! The menu bar extras item disappearing in Mac - a bug or a limitation ?

I love Firefox . The addons have changed the way i surf the internet with firefox . I totally enjoyed Firefox in the windows world . But in Mac i am not using Firefox . A very minute reason is the mouse cursor change while loading any webpage . I am very much irritated with such behavior of Mac mouse pointer while surfing in Firefox . The Cursor changes to something like the one shown in the pic below. Why the hell it seems like busy mouse cursor ? i dont see such cursor in Safari. There is no shadow even.

Mouse PointerAnd i feel that the scrolling of webpages in Mac Firefox build is not that smooth as compared to Safari which is the built in browser Application ( programme ) in Mac. This makes me think that Firefox doesn’t run natively in Mac or at least in my Intel based Mac. Does this also happen to everyone else or just me ? . I tried downloading the Mac optimized build of Firefox ( Minefield ) .

MineField Build But I found no difference . And in Minefield some of the addons were not compatible which were installed in firefox 3.

Minefield is not a Mac-optimized build of Firefox, it is a nightly build or a beta of the new Firefox that is developed by a user community. You can turn on smooth scrolling in Firefox preferences.
